Got a 94 k1500, and a couple bux to burn

Hello all, if anyone has two cents on what would be some good bang for the buck mods for a 94 k1500 with a 4.3 v6. I'm looking for some good suspension and minor engine mods to upgrade from stock in the handling, performance and fuel economy departments. I was thinking of dual exhaust, new shocks and bushings all around, air filter and aluminum pullys, valve springs?
What was the difference between the Z71 trucks and the regular 4x4?
Can a torsion bar adjustment give aditional height in the front end?
Any input appreciated:metal:

you could get a chip, cold air intake, underdrive pullys, throttle body spacer to get some more power. you could do exhaust too, but im not a fan of the sound from a v6.
