Ebay thread poll

Seems like we all like looking at blazer/jimmy's on ebay. I'm thinking about making an EBAY Find thread to sticky at the top of the page. Whenever someone finds something on ebay just add it to the thread. When the thread starts getting a little long I'll unstick and start a new one. What do ya'll think?

I like both ideas, however Krue's has no programming or please J can we
attached to it, so I guess based on that I will vote #1 then #2 ;)

Heck no!! isn't there enough stickies as it it is already? there's a gazillion of them in the message board that take almost half the page! add another option to the poll to make another forum for ebay auctions only, then I'll vote... ;)

In VB, coding is quick and is a one time thing :D

Having a sticky is good until it gets 2-3+ pages long, then it becomes a big thread full of closed/completed ebay auctions

Which is why you unstick it and start a new one. The old one falls off the page.

As it is now, the "ebay finds" take half the page. There aren't that many stickies on the blazer board.

My bad, I forgot I was in the blazer board  was thinking of the message board, if I posted all the finds I come accross on ebay I'd have the other half page full ;)

Who would do that? It seems like the same amount of work cleaning up a seperate forum without adding to an already long list of stuck threads :D

I do realize that the ebay finds do take alot of the page up but I don't think that is bad. There are some good finds and it makes for great disscusion. My vote goes for leave it alone.

We could use a few stickeys in the blazer area but no more on the main page thats totally getting too long.. As the fatman said above..

ME. One unstuck thread is better than 6 or 7 threads all over the page. I don't have any control over adding a new board, but I am responsible for this one. Unless someone gives me a REALLY GOOD reason not to do it, I am gonna try it. If it doesn't work then we'll get rid of it and go back to the old way.
