Gas tank, can old fill tube be put on new tank?
The new tanks that I have seen have a straight fill tube as opposed to the curved one that the stock tank has. Does the fill tube bolt on? Could I remove the stock one from the old tank and bolt it to the new tank?
In the pictures of the new tank I can see two bolts, but I really can't tell if it's a bolt on piece. Shawn |

Yes, Meathead95 is correct.
I had to buy new gas filler hose anyway so I just bought a couple of extra inches of it, works great. Kept my original filler neck just in case though. |

I had the neck swapped from my old tank to the new one by a local radiator shop, I think it cost me twenty bucks.
