Steering Gearboxes? Any differences?

Are the manual steering gear boxes common to all of the series(10,20,30's?) I got one off a K-10 that I'd like to put on my K-20............It has a worn out PS gear box on it now, that leaks like crazy...........Don't really need it on that truck, so I'd like to put it back to manual and take the ps box and put it on the 1-ton where I could really use it.

Personally, i don't know the K series, but, if they did it up like the C series, then as long as it is 69 or newer, it'll bolt right up....
But I'll just say bump TTT for a 4X4 guy to verify. ;)

They look different...............Atleast to my tired 4 eyes. Wanted to ask before I tore it off and only to find it doesn't fit without modifications which I don't really want to go through all that for manual steering if you catch my point

I think 4x4 boxes turn left to right to steer, when 2wd boxes go up and down to steer. Not sure though.

Jake is right, the C series gear boxes don't work on a K series truck, however, both of his are K series parts, so that's a moot point.
