04-07 chevy crew cab w/diesel
 
I am looking at getting an 04-07 chevy 3/4 ton HD 4 wheel drive with the 6.6 L diesel with 3.73 gears. Does anyone know what kind of mileage these trucks can get hwy? Most of my driving is on interstate. Thanks for any assistance! Primed67

i get about 17 mpg with my ex. cab long box on the highway, but thats only when im not playing with the six gun.

I'm getting 17+ running around town loaded with work gear. (500/600 lbs always in the bed)
Allways seem to be pulling something whenever I run a full tank on the highway so I can't say there.
You'll only be turning around 2K @ 70 mph. :metal:

FYI, all Duramax trucks have 3:73's.
