Very good choice. Those are the wheels I wanted. But had to settle for the cheaper Tourque Thrust II's. I'll be waiting on the pics.. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif

I like those, mine are the same ones only without the flutes.

im assuming those are 20s on that black truck right? i wish 20s would get cheaper with all the new 26 24 and 23" rims out. i want a set of 20s bad, but 18s are practically half the price
|
Dropped72shortbed,
I was considering 20's also, but the price jump is ridiculous. Hell, I can barely afford these! But I just have to have them! Actually, I think 20's look a little too big on these trucks...... 19's would be perfect in my opinion, if there was such a beast. Can't wait to get them! ------------------ Current project: 1967 GMC shortbed/fleetside, 350/700R4, air bag suspension. a few companys make 19s but theyre only usually $75 cheaper a wheel and 19" tires are the same price as 20" tires.
seriously the *****in series boyds and gt series billet specialties (both cheapest series of the brands) the 18s can be had for $1300 shipped to your door and you can get tires mounted for $700. 2k out the door, step up to 20s, the rims are now $2000 shipped to your door and the tires are another $1000 mounted. its like $1.5k for 17s 2k for 18s and then freaking 3k for 20s, too much money.... |
Nice choice!!! I Like.

I was wanting to put 20x8 all the way around but saw a pic of a truck in a mag that had this and the view from the back looked like sh@t the rear tires looked too skinny. Was it just the pic or are 20x8 too skinny in back

Those look bad A$$. I will probably go with these when completion is closer. I know they are KNOCK OFF'S, but hey if it brings the price down that much. I don't care. 20x8front and 20x9.5rear wrapped for about $1700. http://eaglewheels.com/images/212all.jpg
