New member from the fabled city of Acton, CA
Hi-I'm new to the forum, and new to cyber forums in general, so I'm more than a little mystified about how it all works--
Anyway, I have a '67 C-10, 283, long bed, with the old Powerslide tranny, and want to (among many other things) convert to a 3 or 4 speed manual (preferrably a 4 of course-but I'll take what I can get)--I did this a long time ago on my old '55 Chev I'd inherited from my parents, but this being a brave new world, I'm having a little trouble finding good sources of info and parts. Appreciate any pushes in the right direction--thanks. And thanks for the forum--it's incredible... |

Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! Keep an eye on the parts boards. 3 speed manuals should be easy to find, find someone near you going the other way (swapping in an auto tranny) and there you have it. 4 speed may be slightly harder to find, but probably not impossible.
