Are you thinking of going from TH350 to M465? Or 3speed man to M465? Either way it's a stright forward swap. These trucks have everything from the factory to go either way like the hole for the clutch rod in the floor and the other clutch linkage mounting points. You will just need a hanging clutch pedal all of the clutch linkage, the right steering coulmn, the right trans to t-case coupler, and of course the transmission. Ideally what would be the easiest is to find a truck in the J/Y that has everything you need and just take it all so you can visually see what the differences are.

Good luck

P.S. PM me if you need a hanging brake and clutch pedal assembly

Need more info:
*What do you have now?
*What transfer case do you have?
*What did the SM465 come out of?

Are you planning on putting the Muncie 4 speed in a 2 wheel drive? If that's the case it should be an easy swap - you would have to change the crossmember and drive shaft more than likely. If you want to put a Muncie into a 4 wheel drive application it won't work as you will not - to the best of my knowledge - be able to adapt it to mount to a transfer case.

I like the 4-on-the-floor,too.Let me put the swap this way:If you had a three-on-the-tree a Muncie M20,21,02,or 22,also the Saginaw SuperT10 will bolt in.The M22 has fine-splines and needs a yoke and clutch assembly to match.
So,if you got one of these car-type trannies and all the necessary stuff from a 3-speeder,it is stone-simple.
