Power steering pump shaft thread size

Picked up a puller/installer kit for the power steering pump pulley, got the old one off but can't thread the installer bolt into the shaft. Does anyone know what thread size/type is in the shaft, I don't wanna rethread it, just clean them up.

I didn't think the keyway style pump shafts were threaded
On keyway style I just put the pulley on in alignment with keyway and tighten the nut. I suppose that is wrong but I have had to do that quite a few times lately with no problems

It is a newer 73 and up style without a keyway, the pulley is just press fit over the shaft
