HVAC is totally dead and its Hot!

Hey guys
Well I guess my truck heard me talking about updating the A/C blower and decided to quit on itself. Nothing at all works on the selector switch. The fan won't turn on at any speed on any setting. The compressor doesn't kick on when you select A/C. None of the settings work, nothing happens. The panel is totally dead. With nothing working at all I think that the whole selector has gone bad. It seems like the fan would work on low speeds or you could hear the compressor kick in on the A/C setting if a fuse was blow or another component bit it. Is there a fuse in the fuse box for the HVAC that may be blown? Has anyone elses truck done this and what didi you do to fix it?
These things always pick the worse time to go like when its been over 100 degrees every day this week.
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

my truck hasn't had A/C or heat for a LONG time. Just open your vwnt/quarter windows at about a 60° angle to the rest of the window or so and it'll act like a cowl induction hood, forming a vacuum and pulling the air in. Better than opening them fully or rolling down the windows.

Hey thanks for the help guys. J/K
Turned out to be easy fix. I had looked at the fuse in the fuse box and it didnt' look blow, but when I put a test light on it it showed an open circuit. So a trip to autozone and a buck later for a fuse and I'm chillin again.
