Can a newer style prop valve be used on our trucks?

Is it possible or has anyone used a newer style prop valve on their truck? I was looking at one similar to this on Ebay...

I would pass personally. Ther eis no telling if it is set up for a chivette, an eldorado, or a P/30.
I would grab an aftermarket one that is adjustable.
