Borgeson steering shaft?

Anyone have the two u-joint intermediate steering shaft from borgeson? I notice they didnt add a vibration dampening joint on either end. Just wondering if you needed it or not. Also what are the diameters of the power gear box shaft and the column shaft and # of splines? Any input appreciated.

borgeson shafts are available with ujoints ,stock type rag joints or thier stainless ujoint vibration reducer or thier inline non ujoint vibration reducer
all you need to do is call them they'll make anything with a combo of parts from any componets they make and you can think of// it's called custom fabrication

IIRC, the PS gear box has a 13/16" 36-spline shaft.

I am going to build my own intermediate shaft using a 3/4" 36 spline-->3/4" DD shaft with a stainless 3/4" DD shaft and then a 3/4"DD --> 13/16" 36 spline vibration reducing u-joint...

Making your own intermediate isw very easy and you can use any setup that you wish

Yes, you really should have a vibraton dampener, your truck came with a rag joint that works quite well. If you've removed that, you will need the vibration dampener. I drove the Stude home without one and the steering wheel just about vibrated off the column. Then I added one. I actually bought all my stuff from Flaming River.
