I just got my 86 Chevy back a few days ago from being painted, This is a "real" paint job not just a quick one...cost $1800 but it's worth it looks brand new now. It's got a new bed floor and rear fenders the old ones were dented really bad when i bought this and the cab corners are new as well they were all rusted out. This truck only has 33,000 orginial miles. I might get some nice rims and the white bumper is new and I don't like it so I might get a chrome step bumper instead.

You shoulda smoothed the tailgate and installed a roll-pan. Well, that's what I would have done. :) It looks great, nice color.

Yeah that'd be cool as well...Was trying more for an orginial look though b/c I may have to sell it soon to free up some money and it seems original bring's more serious buyers(instead of just "lookers") than custom does with these trucks. And if I was going to smooth out the tailgate and put on a roll pan then I'd start lowering it and run into a lot more money...but I know these truck do look very cool low and clean.

Looks really good to me. If your going to sell it soon then paint the rear bumper silver. If not a chrome sport bumper would look nice back there...:)

The yellow one in the background is my dad's truck...It's a rare 1985 extended cab I already posted it on this forum here's the link to the thread with pictures of it.

looks good man, just def needs the chrome rear bumper though

maybe diff. rims too, since your gonna try and sell it, that'd help sell it for sure

Nice truck my 86 has same bench seat + hole or two. I like the non-silverado trim w/out quad lights.
