there are a lot of those cheyennes like that around here in that same color scheme, those and the green and whites are popular as a few blue and whites and some orange and whites as well lots of nice lookin 67-72's down here

Looks like a pretty good truck! You want to remember to crawl underneath and check the cab and frame out. Especially since you live in the northeast.
Im petty sure you know where to look on the cab for rust but ont the frame here are a few hints. Check the frame where the rear springs mount and where the rear bumper mounts. On my orange and white, an Indiana truck, The frame had rotted all the way through in those spots. This is the best advice I can give you. Still looks pretty good from what I see. We need more picks! Hope you get it. Good luck.

Hope you can get it too.

We need more of those years to be saved up here in the northern salt lands.

Cool. Not being anal, but it`s Cheyenne Super, not Super Cheyenne. Is it a 20 series(3/4t..8-lug)?If it was a camper hauler it could have faired pretty well in your area. Why?Because there are many all over the country that mostly sat unless going camping and people try to do that in good weather, right?Other than that, they would get run around for chores or as a backup,if they removed the camper. So,many are hurt more from sitting than use.
For rust, the thing that gets people most, that isn`t so obvious,is the floor at the kick panel, the roof gutter/inside(header)panel above the windshield, and the cowl area where the vents lead to.Actually, the last one is usually the reason for the rust in the first area I mentioned.Of course,so is a rusty gutter. But,those can be bad on an otherwise rust-free truck.

Thanks guys he is willing to take 799 for it and it has new heads cam and carb and exhaust. Thanks for correcting me on the "super " thing i just always liked saying super before. Anyways it is really interesting me. i am gonna call him today already sent 3 emails. i think it is a 10 not 20 but then agian i have not seen it up close but it looks alittle low to be the camper special stye. Also it olny has 1 tank. Thanks for the spots to check guys. the upper cab / roff lines are the ones that really get me.

Thanks
Anyways i was thinking if i got it i would sent it to the local vogue tech were they could repaint it in the original colors then maybe change out the black steelies and just drive it. what would some of you do?

If it were my truck, I would throw a set of old school aluminum slots on it, and fix the rust as you can afford to. The color scheme IMO is great, and I would paint it in those stock colors. I see lots of blue/white and red/white, but not much yellow/white

Well i thought it was gone for sure cause the guy did not write me for 2 weeks. Well i came home today and checked the email and there it was!!! He wrote back saying he had a new edlebrock carb on it flowmaster exhaust headers nd a mild cam. Said he did noew floors and rockers but it needed the cab corners but he had the parts. Also has AC too. It looks rough and rusty but for 700 and it is running and passing emissions ahh i mean saftey. I was thinking Do a frame off as i can afford to. What do yall think. The rear thing that stinks is that it does have rust at the top of the windsheild.

Here are sme pics

Very nice score! I live about a half hour from you (Billerica), and I couldn't find anything around here like that. I went the route of buying from the south and having it shipped up. Very happy to see you are helping out the population around here.

Re: long time lover might have found a truck

Go read my post in the "what's it worth" thread, and please, please don't buy this one in the meantime.

Oh --- by the way, where (exactly) is this truck and who (exactly) has it, and just what's his email address ?????

Just kidding.... I've got my own project going, and I spent more than that for my start-up dose in this addiction that we all suffer from.

Congrats on what looks to be really a SUPER deal !!!!!

Yes well it looks nice but my father is alittle hesitent to let me go for it because of rust and all. I might have to pass but man i would hate to see it go to a bad home. Pm me if you want his email but i am still not sure i am passsing on it yet.

Can't go wrong at that price, and you will always regret it if you do ;)
