new changes... new wheels

1 Attachment(s)
today i got my order from summit racing for my wheels. they are 20x8 in front and 20x9 in the rear. other than the fudge up with shipping (they sent me one 6 on 5 1/4 lug wheel) these stingray III's are pretty quality.

here's a quick pic of a test fit. sorry for the crappy cell pic. tires will come after they send my correct wheel. i would like some input on what tires to go with.

thanks, ken

I had that wheel is a 20x8 on my 2005, and I ran a 275/55r20 on them with no problems. Those are a great wheel, and easy to clean. I like the valve stem placement inside the wheel, too.

Wasn't 90kawi (or something like that) just selling a set of those? He is local for me anyways but wouldn't have been too bad of a drive for you though.

Now look when you gone did. Now you're going to have to lower it. ;)

You could run the popular 295/40s and 245/40s, like what N2Trux runs on his short bed. Or, you could step up the sidewall height by running a larger series wheel, like 45 or possibly 50s, especially since you have a long bed. I guess it depends on the look you're going for... staggered, low profile, etc.

Yeah, here's a old pic of 75chevy90kawi setup. I believe he's running 275/45s and 295/45s.

Yeah, thats the one. He had those wheels in the old classifieds. Not sure if he sold them or not though.
Good looking rims, but I find it hard not to run the rally's.

yeah i would find it hard not to run rallies on his truck. It looks so original with the paint and trip. but those wheels do look good and lowered it looks great
