Great looking engine and I really like those valve covers. I really don't want to offend you, but you just put it in that engine compartment for contrast, right?:)

I set it in there to get it out of the shop, the big bosses were coming and they dont like seeing hotrod parts in their repair shop. No offence taken. hopefully will get the body done this winter so the engine wont lok out of place:D

Looks too small though I may go with a 396...SUre cant wait to get the body work done, seeing all the wicked trucks on heree makes me want mine on the road more. But time and money....that is another issue

Lucked out and got a great dea on the covers. I saw them on sale for 199, but couldnt afford them til payday when i went back they were reg price 299 on for 279, but one of the boxes was still tagged at 99 so i got them for that

Thanks everyone, can't wait to get my headers, and carb. It has 9.5 comp, L79 cam, performer rpm intake. Desktop dyno has it at 352hp and 372 ft/lbs. Supposedly desktop dyno is accurate to 4%. Thats not too bad for the first engine in my 68
