how to hook up fan for defrost???? ASAP please
 

ok my truck is a 72 and doesnt have a/c but my control is for an a/c truck and dont know what year its from my hot wire for my fan comes threw the fire wall then into a plug then to a nother plug but it dont match the clips on the back of my control unit here are some pictures i could hook a togle switch but i would rather it work off the original switch thanks in advance for any help

i guess what im trying to figure out is if i cut that end of what wires go to what letters on the back of the switch so i can control the fan on and off with it

Do you have a chilton, haynes or other type of service manual for your truck? If yes look at the wiring diagrams for a/c and non a/c. If not someone on here probably has the witing diagrams for you. I do know that you will need the plug for the a/c blower switch. These plugs are avaliable from most of the vendors.

See if this helps. And you will still need to buy the a/c switch plug.
