Factory GM 20" wheel pictures and ??

Hey all

I can get a new set of these wheels for a super deal. Just wondered if anyone has em on their truck. I have this pic of a tahoe, but wanted to see em on a extended cab truck.

Also, how much drop is required to level the rear of a 01-02 1/2 2wd extended cab so it matches the front? Is it like 3"

Anyway, here's the pic. I would love to go pick out the exact wheels I want, but for 75% what these normally cost, I can't pass up the deal for chrome
20" wheels

Check with forum member JB over at www.fullsizechevy.com. He has them on a Chevy Crewcab.

What did those come on (year, model) - were they an optional wheel from the dealer?
I like the look of the Silverado SS stock wheels and have seen some come and go for sale but can't find any localy lately.

Those were offered by GM as an optional wheel that you could buy through the parts dept. Are you looking for the SS wheels in chrome? Do a Google search and you can find replicas all day long...:)

I guess if someone paid to upgrade the wheels from the dealer, they probably wouldn't be looking to replace them anytime soon?

Call me a tighta$$ but I am hoping to find some used for a good price. I got some Denali rims for $200 and they are way better looking that the stock painted steel rims but seeing those 20's in the original post makes me think maybe I need 20's!
I've always been a stock-rod sort of guy. Rally rims do it for me. Don't get me wrong, big inch wheels look really good, but my tastes change too much to commit to putting out the money for a high dollar set of rims.
I also think that I would stand a better chance of not waking up with my truck on blocks or worse, gone altogether, if I stuck to the upgrade stock wheels.

I got a inside deal cause these have been discontinued. If you like the style, do a search on ebay for gm 20" wheels. I have found these twice in the last week, and they may still be listed. Prices were like 1599.00-2000.00 for wheels, tires, etc. I think. I actually got my center caps from ebay, cause there is a guy selling Chrome ones with no logo for like 80.00 plus shipping. Dealer price on 4 logo ones is like 160.00.

I don't even have a truck to put these on yet, but plan to have one by Spring, and the deal was too good to pass up.

good luck

Update!!!

I bought the wheels, tires, stainless one piece lug nuts, gm wheel locks, and smooth chrome center caps for less than for less than 1,000.00

Thats was a real blessing....

But to top it off, the dealer I worked for made me a deal I couldn't pass up, and now I have a 06 ext cab to put the wheels on.

Here are a couple before and after wheel pics, sorry for the crappy quality, snapped em quick before leaving work. I will post better ones.

Hey all !

I've been super busy lately and haven't posted in a while.

I will try to post new pics soon.

The stock moldings are gone, and I got a set of GMC style moldings incase I decide to ever put moldings back on.

The rear is 2" lower thanks to a set of shackles.

Silver Escalde handles, painted tailgate handle and bezel, and painted mirror caps are ordered. I am gonna get a painter a work to painted em my color since I cannot get from the factory.

Tinted window, maganflow dual exhaust, and cold air intake are on the list for the future.

Any recommendations or feedback regarding exhaust and intakes?

sweet truck but quik questions. does a nbs 2000-06 suburban 2wd and 4wd have the same offset and backspacing? They seem to all come with the same wheels either way

I went with an Air aid intake and it helped alot.. As for exhaust I have a single Flowmaster 50 series split to duals. It sounds sweet but the exhaust took 3/10ths off my 1/4 mile time. I think the Programmer is the best performance Mod.

Those look great on your truck!

I think I've decided to search around for a good deal on some SS 20's for my sierra. I want to put another inch of lift on it with the SS 20's wrapped in some 305 series tires.
