duplicate window sticker
Is it possible to get a duplicate of the trucks's original window sticker and if so where?
Thanks Jim |
Re: duplicate window sticker
I do not believe it is possible for Chevy or GMC. Pontiac cars has the capability but I have always been told that GM/GMC made too many vehicles.
There is a company that can recreate one. I have had several done and they are identical to the original. You may also be able to add items as well. I sent them the year and make. They sent a list of available options for that year and I checked the boxes. Sticker came with dealer destination charges and all options complete. I can send you the name if you like. |

I ran across this when looking for parts. Never used them but looks like they do the year range. |
Re: duplicate window sticker
The name of the place I use is;
Triple A Enterprises 1427 W. 86th Street Suite 260 Indianapolis, In. 46260 They say that window stickers can be recreated by tank stickers, shipper copies, dealer invoices, etc. If you have any documents, send copies, not originals. !959-1975 Chevrolet used to be $16.00. This has been a while though. You could probably use the VIN and glove box option sheet as well. |

Re: duplicate window sticker
Anyone know where I can find original 1972 NOS Window stickers for our C10?
Also, I tried to contact www.window-sticker.com to see if they would reproduce one but they won't. Anyone have any idea of another person that can do it? |
Re: duplicate window sticker
Reproduction window stickers may not be permissible due to copyright laws. I know it doesn't seem right, but GM does license those who are reproducing parts that are obselete and/or made out of unobtanium.
I still have the window sticker for my '96, but finding even the build sheet for my '69 was a no-go situation. It had been re-done and re-upholstered about 20+ years ago. After taking the cab apart, there was nothing. I do have the build sheet for my old '67 Firebird, though. It won't help me with my '69. If you know of an old dealership and know someone who works there, it is possible that somebody might have some stickers of some sort. No guarantee. If they're like most other businesses, emptying files was a job that finally got done and usually involved a dumpster. Lots of NOS parts went into that same dumpster, too. Yeah, it sucks. |
Re: duplicate window sticker
I just found this information that has many GM cars and trucks and the prices for the vehicles and options. You may want to check this out as I haven't seen this information before.
