Cheap Headlight Gaurds
 

Got these for free. They're grates off a stove! Look like they're made to fit (at least on my ugly rig). I'm gonna weld the centers together with some round stock to add a little strength.

realy nice idea .
i hope these grates arent made from cast iron or aluminium cause thats hard to weld might be better to leave the coating on them anyway cause its prolly emaille (kindoff molten glass with a binder for the metal).
you might get a perfect fitting piece of pipe in and hold it in with 4 small bolts
