overall length? Will it fit in my garage!
Guys,
I sold my rusted out 68 I had and am now the new owner of a '72, but I've moved into a newer house now and have a smaller garage. Just wondering if you guys have the overall length of your burb so I can check to see if its getting inside treatment or the driveway. I pick it up in 2 weeks, can't wait. Later, Dave |

My garage is 20 feet deep outside dimensions, framed with 2x6s and it has doors. My burb barely fits with the doors closed. maybe 6-8 inches left.

Thanks! Had the guy measure it today when I confirmed he received my funds, so it will fit.
Thanks, Dave |

Well, deal is done and I'm on my way tonight to go get the sucker http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-...QQcmdZViewItem, and hitting a swapmeet in Moultrie on the way home, may score some parts on the way back!

hard to believe they weigh less than 4000lbs. Must be the 4x4 model that weighs more.
