new member in NV

hey everyone, I'm a new member to the board in Nevada. I recently bought a '70 K10 and plan to start fixin it up. It has the original gold paint with a little cancer in the cab corners and a few dents to fix.

I've been a VW guy since I was in the military so I will have a lot of questions coming since I know very little about v-8's and 4wd.
