60-62 Chevy C10 Chassis frame horn Help
 

When I got my truck (62 Shortbed Stepside) somewhere along the line it sustained front end damage (They all seem to at least most do) anyhow the tabs where the front bumper attaches (front frame horns) have been damage/broken off beyond repair. and the PO welded some crappie angle bracket junk on there to hold the bumper on.



Does anyone have, or have access to a 60-62 frame/chassis (long or short) that is not going to be used (scrap) that has good frame horns and is willing to cut off right at the rivets where the mounts are for the radiator/front grille support? I will cut off the old twisted wasted ones, gusset and weld on the replacement maybe box them in and beef them up.

Or does anyone have a better solution to this problem?

In about a week I'll have access to some from a 66. If you can find out if they will work I'll cut them off. Jeremy

I am not sure if they are the same?, does anyone know if the mounting holes or position is the same for the 66's and 62's? I always see the bumpers listed 60-62, and 63-66 was there a change ? Derek
