How to select the right suspension combo?

I'm looking for a lowered, comfortable ride that handles well (as well as I can with stock control arms and spindles).

How did you go about choosing your spring, swaybar, shock combo?

Right now I'm thinking moderately rated bags, light sway bar(s) and soft (or maybe adjustable) shocks. (do we even have a selection of sway bars to choose from?)

But I think I should just start with choosing a set of bags, get them installed and go from there.

How are you guys selecting the correct bags to get the ride quality and stance you want?

Thanks,

I went w/ firestone 2500's up front w/ 2600's in the back. the 2600 and 2500 is the weight that can go over that bag afaik. I don't even have swaybars yet so dunno there.
