Anyone remove/replace their stock mirrors

I removed the dumbo ears off my '83. Currently sport some cheap Pep Boys plastic. I want metal. I've looked at these 70-81 Camaro's but they don't fit. The inside tear drop hits the window.

Anyone have other mirrors that fit our trucks? I want metal with no pivoting head. I just want the glass to move and the head to be nonmovable.

Any suggestions on mirrors from foreign, imports or other vehicles?

S-10 mirrors from the mid 80's will work, with just a little work. They look good to.
