Good lookin build up. I've watched it a bit on ssm in the rides setup. Looks like an awesome start and I love the custom frame.

On the pics size -
if you're using a digital camera, check your camera's manual - you should have a larger file size (more pixels) setting on there. A couple of megapixels is more than enough to fill a computer screen at 72dpi.
If you're scanning from prints, your scan software should have size settings also.

Re: Project Build

I have a profile on SSM, and had alot of pics on there....sadly I let my account expire, and most of the pics were deleted. The bad thing is, I can't seem to find the discs that has the pics on it. I looked around last night and found some pics, of shaving in the firewall and setting the bed and the cab, on the frame.

I haven't done much to the truck in the past 7 months or so, bought a few parts here and there, but nothing major. This whole build has been a learning experience for me...seeing as how I never really welded until I bought this truck and bought a mig welder.

My plans for my "Project SIKty-5" (as I have titled this build) include:

2" chop top - (the rear part of the cab is tacked in place, just need to fit the front roof pieces now)

Super Short Bed - (when I bought the truck it was a long bed, I took 26" out of the bed, to make it exactly 6', 6in. shorter than a short bed. I have pics of the bed shortened, but the bed I used was pretty rough to begin with so I'll probably end up getting another bed)

Suicide driver door, '54 chevy car grille, '67-72 C10 taillights, completely shaved, squared front fenders, complete custom 2x4 frame with airbags, 1 off 22" wheels, disc brakes front and rear...and some other things.

Like I said this is my 1st ever attempt at building something myself, so I'm learning as I go, and working as I can afford it. I'll be trying to include pics, as I can find them or as I do work.

There's alot of nice builds going on out there, and I love to see classics being built, and love seeing the progress. Feel free to leave comments or suggestions!!!
