Disc brake questions, help me out!

alright on the front of my 64 truck, is disc brakes. out of what, im not sure. the lug pattern is 5 on 5.

i want to know if it is possible to just buy a new rotor and convert it over to 4 and 3/4.

let me know if ya think this is possible. and any questions ya got for me, let me know.

I don't think so. Why do you want to change patterns? Those are probably stock truck rotors.

Are you going with differnt wheels ? It might be easier to use wheel addapters.
Keep in mind that the 5x4.75 is a car bolt patern , and most often will use smaller rotor.
You can buy disc brake addapers that let you use STOCK spindles but you will need to get new calipers, rotors, and use diferent lug nuts.
If you are dead set on doing that ,find some one that will trade there stock spindles for your disc brake ones, that is if you have the front crossmenber, swap them out and buy the disk brake addapter kit.
My 2 cents is keep what you have.

It's going to take a rotor and hub change. With a 5 bolt pattern there is enough room to redrill your rotors and hubs. A machine shop should be able to do this for you. I don't know what they will charge.
