Does your cam affect your brakes?
 
Does the cam size affect the way your power brakes work? I read this somewhere on the forum, and am curious if my cam is too big to run the power brakes I plan to. Its a 286 cam with .490 of lift. If my cam is too big what are my options? Thanks.

go on summit and get a vacuum canister
the bigger the cam less vacuum for you brakes

I have a 525 lift cam in one of my SBC's, im getting ready to install. I take it i will need a vaccum canister?
