Vin Location
 

ok well hears the story a few years ago my 77 pickup was stolen and i think i found it but it looks like it has been ran through a chop shop i know the cab and doors are the same it looks like the bed has been swaped and teh dash has been changed out
i am assuming to get some clean numbers on it
so i am looking to find out if the vin would be stamped anywhere else on frame or cab
i am shure that all lables have been removed so it would have to be something that as stamped in

vin on my 76 is on door frame but they can be changed,,on my frame rail on top of passenger side front the vin is stamped..i've heard they stamped them wherever the notion struck them.:)
