Free TH350 and NP203, Mount Forest, Ontario

Free TH350 and NP203, has been sitting for a few years, no idea of the condition. Assume that it's a rebuilder or a core. Some rust on the input shaft, no torque converter.

Supposed to be from a 1973 Blazer.

Will not ship. Located in Mount Forest, Ontario.

I'd really like to get the adapter & range box from you, but it's about a 4 hr drive from me. Do you have any family or friends towards toronto that you might be visiting, because I could meet you somwhere along the way. I live in Buffalo, NY BTW.

Let me know,
Buddy

Since the front tires on my pickup are pretty bald I'd rather not drive it this time of year.

Is it time or is gas money the concern?

Both really. I really don't want the transmission or the back half of the t-case. If you were willing to separate them would you then be willing to ship the adaptor & the range box? Do you have the shifter for the t-case?

Thanks,
Buddy

Re: Free TH350 and NP203, Mount Forest, Ontario

The shifter is there. Is this going on an existing TH350? If it's not a 4wd TH350 the output shaft is most probably different (they definately are with the TH400)

In any case I was just hoping to unload it into somebodys truck an forget about it. I really didn't want to deal with dismatling it and shipping parts of it.

Hi Buddy, since it seems nobody else is interested in a free tranny and transfer case let me know exactly what you want/need and I'll dismantle it.

FYI It's really cold today so I might not get to it for a few days.

Beautiful!! Thanks!! :metal:

I do have a 4wd th350 so that shouldn't be a problem. What I would like is the adaptor to the transmission, (should be held on with 4 bolts to the trans), & the front half to the transfer case, (the small part), with whatever is inside of it.

PM me when you get it out & then again when you ship it & I'll reimburse you for the shipping + a little extra for the hassle.

Thanks,
Buddy

BTW, there's no hurry about this just need it before April.

No problem, better that somebody get some use out of it before it goes for scrap.

I'll probably end up keeping the tranny and see if I can get a 2wd output shaft and tailhousing and try it in the C10. If you happen across one let me know.

For anybody else interested in anything from the rear section of the tcase let me know, otherwise once I pull it apart I'll just dump it in the scrap pile outside for the metal recycler.

Buddy,

Well I spent the afternoon taking the transfer case apart, I've attached some pictures so you can let me know if that's what you were after.

A couple of problems, the adapter has one mounting bolt broken off in it close and the other I had to grind the head off of. The other problem is that all told the range box and adapter weighs 85lbs (or more) I can't ship it parcel post at that weight. If I broke it into two 45lbs boxes it'll cost $90CAD to ship it all.

FYI For anybody who is interested, the chain case it self is still available. I decided to keep the TH350 and find a 2wd output shaft and extension housing.

Last call, the back half of the T-case is mostly apart, if you want any bits of it let me know, still free for pickup or you pay shipping.
