72 4x4 project pics
1 Attachment(s)
This started out as a green/white LB Fleet about a year and a half ago. Sold the bed, bought a LB stepside, bought a cab from Teeitup, new inner and front fenders, different set of doors, new rockers and about $4,000.00 in paint and body so far, about twice what I thought I'd spend! Thats with no rust to repair but lots of small dents. And thats getting a deal from a good friend, over $750.00 in materials alone! Excellent job, I will be afraid to get it dirty its so nice. Just need to finish putting it together and getting the bed done. Shackle flip and grease-able bushings all around from Off Road Design, with a Tuff country 6" springs and shocks. I saw a really cool LB Stepside 4x4 on here about 2 years ago and have wanted once since. Still need more money to finish but I am getting close!

Re: 72 4x4 project pics
LOL. thats a good question! I think it will fit it! I didn't plan on painting it silver until I saw a SB Stepside 4x4 on ebay that was silver and I really liked how it looked. I had a hard time making up my mind, then my body man painted his 98 Chevy Dually this color and I liked it. Its a Nissan color, I don't know what car it comes on.

Re: 72 4x4 project pics
The truck is basically stock with a mild 350 build, 4 speed stick, 373 gears, shackle flip in the rear with 2" lift springs and heavier front shackles with 6" springs. I will get it dirty eventually...... might be a while but I will have to get into the mud at some point! Thanks

Starting to get it together a little bit. All it takes is money! Needed a new grill but didn't want to spend the bucks so I had my painter sand and paint my old one. I like it a lot, it will look better when I buy a billet grill for it. Today I put on the headers, battery tray, headlights, bumper and headlight bezels, all new parts!
