On my 69 K20 I have Dynomax ceramacoated headers on the bbc that cost about $210 a couple years ago.

They exit into 3" pipe that then goes to a crossover that is 3" inlet, 2 1/2" outlet.

I got it built by a guy off of e-bay for like $30 or so.

From there it is 2 1/2" pipe going to Dynomax Ultra Flo mufflers that were like $80 after rebates.
