Steering Box Interchange

Looking to verify the interchange application for a steering box on my '72 C-10. I replace a worn out one a couple of years ago. Got one from a '68 and to my surprise it didn't have any way to add grease to it (Not even thru a bolt hole). And sure enough now it is wearing out. Would like to find an application with a grease plug. Was told I could go up to '87, but need to verify it. TIA.

Yes up to 87 and even some Dodges in early 70's will fit perfectly. I am sure about a 72 Dodge and don't know about the cut off on these truck years
I am sure about this becouse I have done it thru all these years

68 and older 4x4 are supposed to also have the same box too, i put a 68 C10 manual box in place of the p/s box on an 81 C20 i had once and it swapped fine, with the manual pitman arm

good luck
