pickup beds
 

Hi all I need to buy a different bed for my 64 3/4 ton 4x4 project the bed I have is very clean but very very smashed and requires to much work. The question is will all boxes 60-66 fit my 64. Also what years had the tool boxes built into the sides and are they worth having or a pain in the butt. If anyone can help thanks in advance also if you seen a good longbox im in Illinois.

im not sure that they had tool boxes built in in the 60s but i know that the 60s fords had them and 67-67 had them all boxes from all 60-66 fleet will fit or 55-66 step will fit and i have a long fleet with one dent on the left rear by the tail lite that could be removed easybut im in california:aiiet:

If you use a 60-62 bed it will have different bed to frame mounting points than the 64 and may not work with your 64 frame without modifications. Nothing that can't be changed, but it is not a drop-on, bolt-on swap.

Does anyone make reproduction sides for 60-66 shortbed fleetsides yet?
Anyone around Ca. Az. Or. or nevada have a short fleet under $500.00?
