what to do with swaybar on low p.u.?
 
I have 78 chev p.u. thats lowered but fr. swaybar takes a beating,I did see a lower bracket in a mag. but they did not say who made it.What are others with lowered trucks using thanks

everybody will tell you something different.but,i took mine off and don't think i could tell the difference.

You obviously don't corner very hard, your sway bar will greatly assist you in this. It will stop the truck from rolling in a hard corner

I know Earlyclassic.com has a lower sway bar bracket set for the 67-72 trucks - they may have them for your truck as well.

I have also seen guys take the sway bar frame bracket off and bolt the front bushings and clamps straight to the frame rails.

i guess i'll explain in a little more detail.mine was mangled when i got it.so i yerked it.so,i guess i never really missed it.might be a future consideration.

i sold a boat to a guy from oyama b.c.{check pic}used to take boats up to penticton every summer and hit chelan on the way back.that okanogan lake counrty is boater's paradise..eh?

It really nice here in the summer,can get to hot sometimesthou,I,m in vernon,nice and small but close to everything,big city ,drag stripetc

I've done it on both my 68 & 74. I just don't see the need in those 'lowered sway-bar' type brackets when you're dropping it alot & mine are both 5/7" drop (they might be ideal for a mild 2~3" drop).
