quick question about stock a/c
my 1986 siverado had a/c but when i got it the a/c compressor , brackets, and well the whole engine interly was gone. IM putting in a new motor and trans and i was able to locate a/c componets from a 1985 blazer. The compressor is not the longaded version (dont know if they still had them then but my chevlle did) mines the smaller one like this (borrow pic from www.montecarloss.com) http://home.comcast.net/~furrsam/Open_Left.jpg
I removed all the bracket from the compressor to paint them and forgot how they went back together. Basicly in need some detailed pics of front and back of conpressor I will have up dates soon on My nightmarish project about the engine paint job and a new idea on painting brackets. |
Re: quick question about stock a/c
Here are 23 pics of my brackets. I am posting the link to photo number 1. Just keep changing the address in your browser window until you have all 23 like this.

Re: quick question about stock a/c
I understand. I took it apart, and didn't put it together for 8 or 9 months. I don't think I would have ever figured it out without the pics I took. I don't know how I ever got things back together before. :)
