EverY ThIng Is bEtter SHAVED!!
Ok so I know there are some other guys in here who have shaved their handles, and I'm wondering how difficult it was to rig the solinoids to work, and I also understand there are push and pull solinoids. So which one works in our trucks and does anyone have pics of when they shaved their handles.:metal: :metal:

Here's some pics as requested. Modified locks, looks pretty ghetto but it worked. Solenoid was a puller not a pusher. All I did was weld an arm off the locking mechanisms.

I went to bear-claw latches and puller solenoids.

I have used autoloc it is a remote type, very easy to wire.
My sugestion is to use heavy duty solinoids 35-75 lbs. the hardest part is finding out were to mount them.Make sure to mount were they will allow the cable to operate as freely as posible. A back up cabe is also recomended in case your battery dies. Or go real old school and use a cable only system. |

The modified locks worked well when I was on a budget, but I am now in the process of suiciding the doors and going to bear claws.
