Found this on one of the Warbird sites I visit, DC3 with 76 1/2 ton front suspension for landing gear!!! Like a Rock:metal: :metal: :metal:

I ran across that one several years ago as well while reading up on DC-3s. :) I have had a thing for DC-3s ever since I was a ramp monkey for a few that were being used for air cargo in the 1980s. I got to spend an afternoon flying around the Texas countryside in one once, including about 10 minutes of flying time, and I was hooked...

(Now we need them to section the crossmember, swap out the stock springs with air springs and use drop spindles... and give it another tryout. ;) )
