6 door pickups
I know it has been some time but, I remember seeing a 73-87 body style 6 door pick up, more less a crew cab with the extra door behind it. I thought they were used in the military and railroads but not really sure how many were produced. I am almost sure I have seen these before, has anyone else? Please let me know! Thanks.

Re: 6 door pickups
The western hauler trucks were crew cabs with an extended secton welded on. They were 1 ton duallies with a small flatbed and a 5th wheel. They were meant for towing long distance and the rear seat folded down into a bed in back, which is the reason for the extended cab.
The extended cab on that black truck looks great. the contours of the windows and the way the glass is set in follows the front windows exactly. Looks like it could have been factory. Most of the extended cabs I've seen of that year all LOOKED like the were conversions. The window didn't follow the contours of the front window and the glass was just fitted into the metal with a gasket. Never seen one that looked like it could have come from the factory that way. Please tell me that C60 redneck limo is a photochop?:me: |
