Re: lowering question
I'm probably going with drop spindles and 3" drop springs in the front. Do some searches and you can find some pictures of different drops.

Re: lowering question
I'm on a serious budget right now, but was anxious to give my truck a new look, so I bought some 3" front springs and 4" rear. The front look like they're just missing a couple coils, which I could have done to the originals, but they're 35 years old already.. Plus, I want to keep the original springs so I can put it back if I ever want to.
Anyway, after going with a smaller tire than I probably should have, this is the look it gave mine. (minus the trim rings and center caps) I was afraid it would ride horrible, but it's really not bad at all. Plus I can wash the roof of the truck without climbing in the bed... :) http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=231995 |
Re: lowering question
ECE has a picture comparison on their website. Same truck, different drop kits. Pretty cool. http://www.earlyclassic.com/tech.asp...nce%20Photos-2

Re: lowering question
I cut 1 1/4 coils off the front and got almost 3" drop in front. Cheapest way to go!
