Tinted glass

Is that glass the rear, the DARK DEEP FACTORY stuff? Do you know if it will fit a Blazer? If it will, I need the gaskets too.

Fast68Chevy 09-13-2002 03:25 AM

yes these are the actual black glass ones and i have gaskets for all, and i dunno if are same as blazer side glasses or not.... no idea at all..... i have no access to any blazer of any year cept late model to find this out either...
not enough left anymore that i could find one sitting anywhere to measure off of..... do actually see a couple '80;s burbans once a week or so at least.. '70's no though....

thanks!

Glass Measurements

Just went out and measured the best I could for the glass size. The Blazer top I'm using doesn't have any glass in it now, so as close as I can tell measuring the opening, the glass is 53" long X 17" high give or take a 1/4". I have had Sub's before, and looking at this Blazer top side glass, it sure looks the same as the Suburban. I'll try to do some more research on it today. Call a glass shop and see what they say. For now put my name on the glass and gaskets.

Spotted a Sub for sale this afternoon on the side of the road, will try to go back and get measurement tommorrow to see if they are the same unless someone helps us out here first.

Fast68Chevy 09-14-2002 02:20 PM

burb ones:

60 across bottom (at widest)(or is it actually the top)? x 17 roughl measurement maybe + 1/8" or 3/16"

thanks

Glass measurement

If they are 60" they are bigger than the Blazers, my measurements were going from the opening and allowing for the gasket; approx. 53 X17. I guess I'm SOL!

Fast68Chevy 09-16-2002 01:49 AM

thats at the widest point of the glasses(60")

i think widest runs across top of glass when is installed on burb, cant remember now, would have to find one to look and see. im not a burb person, arent enough of them left to even care about.

sorry man
at least these are good trading material maybe,
