anyone just replace coils with bags only?
just wondering if anybody has just replaced there coils with bags... no drop spindles or no notch or anything.. how low will it be? trucks a 69 with a coil rear

If you replace the front without drop spindles, but cut the lower cup down, it will sit the same height as mine does now.
If you replace the rear without a notch, you will not be able to drive it unless you have the bag nearly full because you will hit frame. I have not notched my frame, but have a 3" cup in the back so the back is doesn't hit. http://home.comcast.net/~jimmydean69/dumped.JPG <edit> That picture is aired out, not ride height. |

I'm a bigger fan of doing it right and I don't think it gets any more right than Nathan's design. Check out the pictures of 67Fleet's truck when it was a basic bag drop. He is a lot lower than mine and the only big difference is he notched the frame and trimmed the cups along with the 2.5" spindle. |
