Well thought I'd post a pic of the new rig. 1985 K10 350 crate motor, Q-jet, Performer intake, 700r4, 10 bolts, 3.73s, peg leg, Hooker Comp headers, true duals, long glass packs, minimal rust, power windows and locks, cruise. Motor new in 97, trans new in 01. Paid $2500 bucks for it. :)

Sweet deal, nice looking truck. Needs some Ralleys and 33's IMO, though.

lol my brother said 33's and a lift. I was thinkin 33's, 5 hole slotted mags, and a 4'' lift, but I'll probably put a set of RHS vortec heads on it first before anything else, maybe a larger cam at the same time.

I like the truck very nice but if it were me id leave the hieght alone and just put 33 under it. or 30 anything what ever fits. IM about to put 31 under a 2wd 1986 it alot of rubber but fill the hole when your rimes a re stock 15 in rally wheels.

lol its got 235/75r15's basically 28.9" tall. Its gonna need tires this fall so I'm thinkin just put 31's on it and leave it alone. I'm more into motor drivetrain stuff anyways. Would like to put a set a vortecs on it but we will see. Don't wanna break the trans or the axles lol. Going from a C20 with a sm465 and a 14bolt to this I feel like I'm gonna break something lol. oh and looking to get GEARHD on the license plate lol.

I have 4 inches and 35's on mine with the stock front and rears with a sm465 and I have power braked mine no telling how many times and dump the clutch all on a dry road several times and haven't tore anything up yet. Maybe I am lucky.

10 bolt or 12 bolt? and you've got a sm465 lol. I wouldn't be afraid to dump it in reverse with that. Don't know much about 700r4.. never really cared cause I seen to many break but I've heard something about different years have different spline counts? I've seen 700r4's hold power but seen more break. Guess I'm stick biased but couldn't find a decent 4wd manual truck.
