Header question
Will shorty style headers work on 4x4 67-72 trucks with a SBC in it?
|
Re: Header question
I should think so... all of the differences between 4wd and 2wd is below the frame anyway right? You'll have to extend your exhaust pipes. THat should be it, but I don't have any personal experience with these and 4x4's so don't blame me if I'm wrong :)

Re: Header question
Curious, why block huggers over other models or styles? (Length? Price? Design?)

Re: Header question
I have the same question but for a '72 2WD BBC. Maybe not the block huggers but some shorty headers. The long tubes hang below the frame and it's the lowest thing on my truck and I can't get over any kind of speed bump without bangin' the headers.

Re: Header question
I had long tube headers on my 71 4x4 but had an automatic so no clutch linkage problems. JUST EXTREMELY LOUD!! It also had glass packs on it though and that didn't help. I got ram horns and high flow mufflers now, still true duals, and it's so much more enjoyable to drive.:metal:
