72 with front drop problems
 
first of all i lowered it 5 and a half inches and my brakes lines are like banjo strings it wont even turn,is there any other year hose that will work or do i have to get a pair built,and second i want to run the exhaust through the frame rails and im clear on both sides all the way back except for the shifter linkage is in my way well i saw a 68 in dallas where it was still on the column but the exhaust was in the frame but no one at the car lot knew how he did it and they wouldnt air it up to see,man any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello get you some new brake lines off a 4x4 they are longer but we need pics:metal:

i had some made there not that much more then buying new ones and why risk putting some used ones off another old truck
if you have them made you can get them however long you want them

put up some pics so we can see where you wnat to put the exauset

Lokar makes column shifter linkage that will get it out of your way. $$ though. I used it on my Blazer- quality stuff...

i just cut the metal bracket that holds the line on the crossmember where it turns into flex hose
