What is this under dash bracket
 

I was tearing down the '68 today for blasting on Wednesday (finally) and I removed this bracket from under the dash. It has the brake pedal hard stop screwed to a plate that was hack welded over some original holes. I'd like to clean this up and restore it to it's orignal condition but don't know what it is supposed to look like. Does anyone know the name of this braket and/or have pixs of what it is supposed to look like. I'd buy one if I knew what to ask for.

I posted the question to the parts board and one of the members said he thought he had one...he was going to look. I haven't heard back yet. I was thinking maybe it was for the E-brake which my truck didn't have when I got it. Does anyone have pixs of an E-brake set up for the '67's or '68's.
