Mystery yellow wire...where does it go?
I discovered this yellow wire today that was wrapped around the vaccuum line that goes to the tranny modulator. It's cut, but goes to the positive side of the coil?!?!
What the hell? It's 18 guage and yellow. Anyone know where it's supposed to go? ------------------ '69 3/4 ton C20 2wd w/ 350ci/400THM and a wood bed! You have HEI now?
This wire used to go to the starter from the coil. When cranking the motor, it would give full 12 volts to the coil for easier starting. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. Nope. No HEI. Points. Starts fine, though...
So in order to get full 12 volts it would have to come off the relay from the battery, right? ------------------ '69 3/4 ton C20 2wd w/ 350ci/400THM and a wood bed!
