Pulling - 5th wheel

Thoughts?

I have an opportunity to pickup an older (1976) 5th wheel (not huge - single axle). What's everyone's thoughts on pulling with my GMC (shortbed)? I've researched some about the slider hitches and such..... curious about having to upgrade the rear on the pickup for such a thing. Thoughts?
