i found an 82 shevy shortbed no rust... power everything, air, heat, cowl hood some aftermarket rims slick truck many options, not the original engine my freind i went to school with owned it he blew the original being stupid put in a race car engine then sold it but now its got a differnt engine cause the guy that bout it put it in his malibu but its a solid truck theres many of them floating around here... i was wondering how rare an 82 is cause if looked on here a while and didnt find much, and what u guys think one is worth ? thanks :new:

Not all that rare.. the 81-82s just look out numbered because they are definately different than the 83-87 grilles.. 83-87s all pretty much look alike to a novice so they get lumped together where as the 81-82s can be defined by thier turn signal lights..

They are the rarest of rare, if you have one that is absolutely clean. The motor being changed is not a bad thing. Is that title good?

all in all a rust free short bed any year is a nice thing to have.

The 1980 square headlight trucks are pretty rare. The 1973 and 1974 trucks are also rare since that grill is not often seen, especially the Cheyenne Super version. You can't even buy the 73-74 grill as new or reproduction as far as I know.

it has a clean title, sharpest shortbed iv seen in a long time there are a few of them floating around where i live it seems everybodys got one but not an 82 and im not kidding theres no rust, bucket seats black interior ill try to get a pic, i no the guy bought it for 3500 and hes thinkin hes gonna profit a lot but for what he wants its gonna set a long time, its lowered 2 in the rear and a little more in the front i belive, sets real nice i figured 4200 was an ok price ? the body is all original except the hood and paint ? i thank u guys for your time and input... i appreciate it, im leaving for college and im needing a truck and this is what im likeing
