Anybody have an LMC Center Console
 

If ya got one, whats the verdict on quality ? Some of the stuff I've gotten was OK and some was junk. The original pieces are very difficult to find in decent shape. Most were crushed by use as a middle seat.

There are so many original consoles,I don`t think I`d bother with one from LMC.They came in Blazers and Jimmys from 69/70-91,that`s alot of consoles.

They aren't exact reproductions from what I understand. They don't accept the chrome trim ring.

There is a nice redone console on ebay right now.

Since they`re not the "correct" console anyway,and most likely they are intended for a truck that a console wasn`t original to in the first place,I`d just use and "incorrect" GM console.I like the cupholders anyway.Not wearing lapbelts isn`t an option anymore,anyway.Just me $.02...again:rolleyes:

I think you guys are right ! LMC remains a last resort. I PM'd "PT70CST" about a redone one and that looks like a better option and the chrome trim piece is there. I did a search for consoles and found some pic's of one he did for "bjskyler" the fella with the blown '72 that just took TOTM. Paul does a nice job and apparently has been rebuilding them for some time. I'm in line for one as we speak.

yep mac, paul does great work. He is very particular about the work he does and goes out of his way to make sure you get what you want!
